NAKAZZI HASIFA Ali (NHA) is a legal associate partner of BBA (firm), a reliable, analytical and proactive Lawyer with experience in Advisory Dispute Resolution (ADR), corporate and commercial law, Family Law, Insolvency Law, Labour/ Employment Law, Sharia Law and insurance law. Exposed to court proceedings, filing, and drafting all kinds of legal documents. She has ability to work and cooperate in a team or an independent environment with the dedication to achieve the goal in time. She is able to communicate and interact effectively with all personalities excellently with experience in legal consultancy.

She has previously worked with Onfon Media (U) LTD, Micro Uganda LTD, Makindye Court, KCCA Legal Department and Kons legal associates and consultancy LTD.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Management:
    • Advising clients on tax planning strategies and financial solutions to minimize liability and maximize compliance
    • Preparing and reviewing tax returns for clients.
    • Develops and maintains professional relationship with clients.
    • Ensures compliance with tax regulations and filing requirements
  2. Legal Expertise and Case Management:
    • Handles complex cases with high ethical and professional standards.
    • Provides strategic legal advice to clients, often in specialized areas of law.
    • Offers independent support to the clients
    • Assists the firm in court documents preparation
  3. Business Development:
    • Plays a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for the firm.
    • Involved in networking, attending industry events, and meeting potential clients to expand the firm’s client base.
  4. Leadership and Mentorship:
    1. Client Management:
    • Responsible for drafting court documents.
    • Giving legal advice, concerning different aspects.
    • Carrying out mediation (ADR.)
    • Develops and maintains the client relationship with the clients
    1. Legal expert and case management.
    • Renders support to clients by responding to their inquiries
    • Serves as the primary contact to the client and the firm
    • Ensures that the clients are satisfied with the services provided.
    1. Business development.
    • Assist the form in identifying opportunities for the firm.
    • Involved in networking, attending industry events, and meetings.
    1. Leadership and Mentorship.
    • Enhances the teams output and achieves goals the firms goals.
    • Assists the young layers to develop new skills and strategic plans.
    1. Contribution and Firm Strategy:
    • Links the activities and goals to the firm’s objectives.
    • Participates in decision making regarding the firms strategy, growth and operations.
    • Assists in mentoring and developing junior lawyers and associates.
    • Assists the young lawyers to develop new skills navigate firm culture and build connections.
  5. Contribution to Firm Strategy:
    • Participates in discussions and decision-making processes regarding the firm’s strategy, operations, and growth.
    • Offers new strategies to the team to brainstorm and discuss new approaches towards the firm’s growth.
